Meet the chefs
A chef and pastry-chef team creating one seamless experience, from the first course through dessert.
Chef Matt is originally from New Jersey, but his journey brought him to the Lehigh Valley when he moved to attend culinary school at Northampton Community College. He has spent more than six years working in restaurants and experiencing many different styles of kitchens. Later, an opportunity to work with a private-chef service helped him recognize his full potential within the food and hospitality industry.
Coming from a family shaped by determination and new beginnings has always influenced Matt’s outlook. His maternal grandparents immigrated from Cuba, while his father and side of his family are from Puerto Rico. Matt has always wanted to represent his family well and build something they can be proud of. He has continuously searched for meaningful opportunities and has never been afraid to take a chance when one presents itself.

Why we started lehigh valley private chefs
While working together in private dining, Matt and Danny discovered how naturally their skills complemented each other. Clients responded not only to their food, but also to their energy, professionalism and the way they made an evening feel personal.
After hearing many guests encourage them to go out on their own, they decided it was time to create Lehigh Valley Private Chefs.
